Responsibilities

As Chairman of NEI, Kate provides guidance for NEI’s strategic direction and supports the members of the senior management team in moving both clients and their transferees forward to meet relocation, recruiting and retention goals. Kate continues to lead NEI with the same values which have been in place since the company’s inception: providing exceptional customer service and simultaneously offering solutions to meet clients’ evolving employee relocation needs.

Within the organization, Kate promotes a company culture of teamwork and works with the management team to provide all NEI personnel with continuing opportunities for training, recognition and advancement. Kate leads the development and execution of NEI’s strategic plan which centers on cost effective and consistently superior delivery of each relocation service offered as well as identifying new services and technology enhancements to enhance our customers’ relocation programs.

Experience

Kate has been a member of the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council since 1986, earning its SCRP designation and Meritorious Service Award. She has served on its Industry Advisory Council, and has presented and been a panelist on domestic and global industry conferences.

Prior to joining NEI at its inception, Kate practiced as a school psychologist for 17 years and gained valuable experience counseling children and families who had been relocated. She earned her undergraduate degree at Trinity University, and master’s and specialist degrees at the University of Nebraska, Omaha.

Kate is the past president of The Nebraska Food Bank Network, the United Way of the Midlands, the Methodist Hospital Foundation and Uta Halee Girls Village; she currently serves on a number of community and civic boards and is a member of Board of Trustees of the Greater Omaha Alliance for Business Ethics.
