Responsibilities
As Director, Global Client Development - Emerging Markets, Phillip helps organizations evaluate their growing mobility needs as well as the financial impact and strategic direction of their relocation and global mobility programs. He consults on relocation/mobility policies, process efficiencies and leverages the results of industry benchmarks to recommend best practices for competitive programs that embrace the organization’s culture.
Experience
With experience in customer service, issue resolution, recruiting, training, and mentoring new employees, Phillip was an ideal candidate to join NEI. As a member of NEI’s Global Services Team, Phillip interacted with clients and their transferring employees on all aspects of global assignments and country-specific nuances.
Due to the unique nature of each global assignment, Phillip engaged with our extensive network of global service partners to develop creative, workable solutions while simultaneously containing client costs.
Phillip speaks English and Vietnamese and is president of NEI’s Inclusion Council whose mission is to foster mutual respect and relational growth in our colleagues, as well as an openness to working collaboratively for the sake of the clients we serve. He is also very active in his community, including being a mentor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Prior to NEI, Phillip developed his excellent customer service skills and acted in a leadership role with a health organization that educates lower income children on how to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle.
Phillip earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Business Management – Entrepreneurship and Innovation. During his time at the University of Nebraska, Phillip participated in many extracurricular activities, including Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital Philanthropy Council Member, CEO (Collegiate Entrepreneur Organization), and held an internship where he acquired valuable business management experience.
