Responsibilities
As NEI’s Controller, Tim manages accounting activities, including funding and billing arrangements, auditing and reporting. Tim directs the implementation of new-client accounting and invoicing services, working with clients’ finance and payroll personnel to institute sound practices for seamless integration of relocation information into their systems. He also consults with each client to establish the funding processes for all relocation expenses, ensuring that the program is compatible with the client’s unique financial goals. Tim works with the NEI accounting activity to ensure appropriate recording and proper execution of accounting practices.
Experience
Tim brings to NEI over 12 years of Accounting Management experience. Prior to joining NEI, Tim has corporate and Big 4 Accounting Firm experience in accounting, tax and attestation services, including audits and compilations. His past positions allow Tim to utilize his analytical, project management, supervisory and financial skills toward the relocation process.
With his knowledge and experience, Tim helps ensure NEI’s outstanding reputation for accurate reporting, invoicing and accounting, and a commitment to transparency. Tim oversees an internal control structure wherein the finance and operation teams execute their roles to the highest standards.
Tim earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Nebraska, Omaha and received his Certified Public Accountant designation in 1999. Tim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants. Tim also volunteers on various civic boards for nonprofit organizations and is a den leader for the Boy Scouts.
