NEI hosted its Talent Agility Symposium the first week of June, featuring 15 speakers from around the world. The event exceeded all expectations, receiving 4.9 out of 5 possible points for the Overall scores in the symposium survey.
Opening Reception at TD Ameritrade Park
The opening reception was held on the evening of Tuesday, June 4th at TD Ameritrade Park, home of the NCAA College World Series for men's baseball. NEI clients, prospects and team members had the opportunity to network, enjoy some great food and wine, see their name on the ballpark scoreboard and pose for photos overlooking the diamond. Guest comments such as, "Loved the photo op." and "Great Venue & Food!" seemed to be a common theme for the opening reception.
Educational Sessions and Omaha Trolley Tour
On Wednesday, June 5th, guests, speakers and NEI team members met at Gallup® University and were introduced to Omaha with a Chamber video that surprised many. Randy Wilson also introduced the company's new tagline Partners in Talent Agility and explained how the organization arrived at the concept.
After a short video about Talent Agility, the morning educational sessions began with a variety of topics including Domestic Relocation Trends, International Mobility Trends, Economic Outlook and Global Leadership Development Strategies. In the afternoon, guests had their choice of attending sessions including Current Real Estate Markets and Its Impact on Relocation Programs, Housing Challenges Abroad, Temporary Living Strategies, and Trends in Talent Mobility.
That evening, even guests from Omaha and those who have visited previously were excited about the chance to experience the city via a downtown guided trolley tour before dining at Vivace's in the Old Market.
Find Your Strengths and Build on Them
Prior to starting the day on Thursday, June 6th, Al Blumenberg was surprised by NEI CEO Randy Wilson with a beautiful NEI award recognizing his contributions to the relocation industry and his induction into the Worldwide ERC® Hall of Leaders. Al then resented a session on Supply Chain Management and the NEI Global Partner Alliance program.
The symposium concluded with the lively Gallup® StrengthsFinder® program. Participants completed an assessment prior to attending the workshop. Gallup® Advanced Learning and Development Consultant, Steven Beck, helped clients, prospects and attending NEI team members learn more about their unique talents and strengths, showing them how to develop their strengths further as well as recognize the unique talents and strengths of others.

Thanks so much for having us. This was a fantastic symposium.
Please know, from my humble viewpoint, this event was stellar. Well organized, highly thought out and the content was excellent.
Various NEI team members were present at several of the events as well as the sessions and many clients took the opportunity to fly in early or stay later in the week to meet with their team, which was a welcome bonus to the event.
Pictures from the three-day event were posted to the NEI Global Relocation Facebook page for all to enjoy.
