NEI Global Relocation (NEI) is excited to announce the appointment of Randy Wilson, NEI President | CEO, to the Worldwide ERC® (WERC®) Government Affairs Council, as one of three industry leaders who work closely with the WERC® Tax Counsel and Government Affairs Advisors to ensure the relocation industry’s voice is heard on capitol hill.
“It is an honor to serve on the Government Affairs Council,” said Wilson. “The work that is done within the Government Affairs structure is amazing and critical to all WERC® members. The council is supported by five forums covering, Global, Immigration, Real Estate and Mortgage, Regulatory and Compliance, and Tax. Monthly, the forum chairs report the outcomes from the forum meetings and their ongoing tracking efforts to the council, where further action requirements are determined and communicated to the WERC® Board of Directors for appropriate action.”
The three primary goals of WERC® Government Affairs are:
- Ensuring that lawmakers hear and understand our industry’s positions when developing public policy
- Advocating for the most favorable outcomes
- Keeping WERC® members informed of all relevant developments affecting the globally mobile workforce
