NEI Global Relocation received the Support and Services Award at the American Water Inaugural National Supplier Diversity Summit. Michelle Moore, NEI Chief Global Mobility Officer attended the May 8 event in Camden, New Jersey.
An impressive number of companies from the industries of engineering, professional services and site services were finalists in the Support and Services category. During the award ceremony, NEI contacts at American Water were very complimentary of our work:
- Their procurement officer spoke of the longevity of NEI working on their account and the ease of working with our organization professionally and personally, as NEI had relocated him.
- A director specifically mentioned the expert guidance and support received from Debbie Mills, Cindy Barrell, and Wendy Trench for the many “unusual things” that come up.
- NEI’s daily contact at American Water was extremely happy for NEI to be recognized and shared that their company greatly appreciates the NEI Team’s responsiveness, support and recommendations.
- Another director recalled the name of his NEI Account Executive, Wendy, who assisted with his 2009 relocation.
Each of these individuals indicated how much they trust Wendy and Megan Johnson with their employees and that their employees’ confidence in the NEI Teams’ ability to orchestrate all the details of a move allows them to stay focused on their jobs at American Water.
Michelle Moore commented, “To all the NEI team touching American Water, whether directly or indirectly, THANK YOU!!! I wish you could have seen how proud our contact was for your work to be recognized by her company at this level. NEI is appreciative of American Water’s recognition and especially of our valued business partnership.”
