The results of the ©Trippel 12th Annual Relocation Managers’ Survey on International Mobility rank NEI as a top provider.
NEI ranked #1 for Integrity, Responsiveness, Country Coverage and the Client’s Desire to Continue to Use This RMC. Overall, NEI ranked in the top three placements in nine of the eleven categories. Those additional categories included Cost Management, Providing Tax and Compensation Services, Quality of Service and People, Technology and Overall Satisfaction.
A total of 155 Corporate Relocation Managers participated in this survey. The breakouts of employees moved annually across an international border for those who participated include:
▪ 42 percent move fewer than 50 employees
▪ 40 percent move between 51-250 employees
▪ 18 percent move more than 250 employees
The survey polled participants on their anticipated 2016 International move volume for Assignments 12 Months or Shorter, Assignments Over 12 Months and Permanent Moves. While there is a fairly even distribution, Permanent International Moves are trending slightly higher than the other move categories at 36 percent.
The survey also indicated that 78 percent of the participants prefer to use a “global” approach when developing international relocation policies.
Other survey results revealed 65 percent of those responding rely on their Relocation Management Company to track lease expiration dates, followed with 20 percent who use internal departments to track those dates.
