NEI Wins Business Excellence Award for Leadership

Published: Jul 27, 2016

NEI Global Relocation was recognized for Excellence in Leadership at the Greater Omaha Chamber Business Excellence Awards on May 10.  Accepting the award was NEI Founder and President, Kate Dodge.

"We were aiming to recognize critical components of businesses success and show the positive impact area businesses have on our community," said Greater Omaha Chamber President and CEO David G. Brown.  "This year the competition was even more fierce, with a record number of very high quality nominations, which I think speaks well to our great business community," he continued.

In an interview with the Midlands Business Journal, Kate Dodge, President of NEI, commented that one of the reasons she believes that NEI was selected for this leadership award included the investment that NEI makes in developing and promoting our employees.

"NEI University  was officially established in 2013 and offers more than 200 formal courses to ensure that our employees are properly trained to assist our 176 client companies and their more than16,000 relocating families," Dodge said.  "The courses are structured so that employees reach various certification and designation levels designed to meet the needs of customers in more than 100 countries," she continued.

In the last year, over 20% of NEI employees have been promoted thanks in a large part to the excellent training they receive through our talent development program and NEI University.

NEI also encourages its employees to give back to the community.  In an annual employee community service survey, NEI employees spent 8,500 hours of volunteering with more than 300 nonprofit groups. "We recognize the value of giving back to the community, and I think that resonates," Dodge said.

NEI Global Relocation is a Nationally Certified Women's Business Enterprise that was established in 1985 and has since grown to be one of the major companies in the relocation industry with offices in the United States, Switzerland and Singapore.

Kate Dodge, NEI President, and Randy Wilson, NEI CEO, have created an exceptional company that has grown organically through the ups and downs of the economy, never experienced layoffs and never taken part in mergers or acquisitions to grow its business. But what sets NEI apart from others in its industry is its extraordinary culture--carefully nurtured throughout the years by thoughtful leaders dedicated to developing new leaders and providing Service Exceeding Expectations to each of its clients and transferring families.
